IMPORTANT MESSAGE - MEASLES

National MMR vaccination catch-up campaign
We are aware that parents are receiving messages from the national campaign team suggesting that their child may not be fully vaccinated against measles, despite the child having had both doses of the Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) vaccination.
If you are unsure about your child's vaccination history, please check your child's Red Book or via the NHS App* before contacting the surgery.  This will be quicker for you and helps our nurses see more patients by reducing their admin.  The normal age for these vaccinations is 12 months for the first  dose and 3 years and 4 months for the booster (given alongside the 4-in-1 pre-school booster.)  Two doses is the full course.
*If you have not already done so, we recommend that you link your child's medical record to your NHS App account
